Werkschau Studentischer Fotoclub Dresden
23.07.2026 — 25.07.2026
OPENING: THURSDAY 7.00 pm
We are delighted to be able to host, in our ‘time to pop up’ window – following on from Streetcollective Dresden – another initiative that is actively involved in the local photography scene:
The Dresden Student Photography Club offers all photography enthusiasts, from beginners to professionals, a broad platform for discussion and the exchange of information.
From classic analogue to digitally manipulated – everyone is welcome. Through joint image reviews, projects and workshops, we aim to shed light on the various facets of photography in detail. To this end, our members have access not only to a fully equipped studio but also to a darkroom for developing analogue film and prints. In addition, every year we jointly publish our magazine “Schnickschnack”, to which all members can contribute photos on a specific theme.
You can find us beneath the Tusculum on August-Bebel-Straße – this is also where our members’ meetings take place every Monday at 8.00 pm. Curious? Just pop in
In this pop-up exhibition at the Fotoforum Dresden, the SFC is showcasing photographic works created as part of the club’s activities. Having emerged from the TUD Fotoclub, which was newly founded in 2007, the Studentische Fotoclub Dresden is showcasing photographic interpretations of themes that have been explored by its members in various ways. The club aims to showcase its breadth and, above all, the photographic, technical and creative diversity of its members, thereby recruiting students from all of Dresden’s universities as new members. We are delighted to be celebrating our 20th anniversary next year!
The exhibition is open on Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday from 12 noon to 4 pm
