WORKSHOP:
CUTTING THROUGH FEAR, PIECING TOGETHER COURAGE – GENERATIONS IN COLLAGE!

In our collage workshop, thoughts, feelings and ideas were brought together to create art. Together with people from different generations, and supported by two experienced artists, we created wonderful collages and shared visual worlds using newspapers, photos and words. Fear, anger, courage, hope – there was no right or wrong! The resulting collages are now on display at the WERKRaum at GEH8, and will subsequently be shown at the 145th Secondary School and at the Dresden Neighbourhood 60plus.

LES NÉNÉS DÉJANTÉS

The music collective les nénés déjantés invites you to a feminist broadening of horizons in miniature format! With her voice, stage presence and performative power, Yaëlle Dorison brings to the stage a musical mini-journey blending stubbornness, humour and defiance. Small in scale, big in impact – a moment to sit up and take notice, breathe a sigh of relief and rise up in protest.

ARTISTIC WORK: 
HOLGER BIERMANN – THERE’S ENOUGH FEAR TO GO AROUND

In spring 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic brought public life almost to a standstill, photographer Holger Biermann roamed through a deserted Berlin with his analogue half-frame camera. This resulted in unusual pairs of images depicting street scenes, empty urban spaces and street art, which he subsequently exhibited in the show ‘There’s Enough Fear to Go Round’ at the Supalife Kiosk. Part of the exhibition was a lightbox bearing the words “There’s Enough Fear to Go Round”. This later evolved into the monochrome screen print of the same name. Today, the lightbox forms part of the Artshop at Görlitzer Str. 32 in Dresden-Neustadt. The exhibition “FRIEDENSANGST” by the artist duo Güteklasse A – Klara Bezug & Jördis Hirsch, which was previously also shown at the Supalife Kiosk, can be seen there until 14 November.
