In the exhibition "planets" abstract and surrealistic visual landscapes come together. The powerful black and white of Kerstin Franke-Gneuss's etchings form an exciting contrast to Matthias Bausch's colourful paintings.

While Gneuss allows fragments of experience to emerge from the white background as dark meshes, Bausch's figurative paintings symbolically refer to the fragility of man-made systems and structures of order. In the reduction and reshaping of external reality, new "planets" emerge that need to be explored.
