The extremely versatile artist is known far beyond the country's borders for her sculptures, installations, paintings and graphics. She studied at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts until 1993, has received numerous scholarships and commissions in Germany and abroad (including London, Wales and Karlovy Vary), gives creative workshops and teaches at various educational institutions.
