Lelah Neary meets her audience as a theatre maker, dancer, writer and mainly entertainer. In her performance she often makes use of raw bursts of energy and energy shifts. Amateur theatre and random theatrical moments inform her work, be it the flubbed lines of a school play or the local tramp shouting at the bus stop. It is the lifelike figures of everyday life and their will to attract attention. Neary describes the internet as the "second driving force" of her work, serving as more than just inspiration - as a performer, Neary also knows how to use the media public as a stage for her work.
