Seven students of the MA Choreography at the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin, in cooperation with the Kustodie of the TU Dresden, are testing artistic research as a physical practice: they approach scientific collection objects in movement, through dance and physical presence as forms of knowledge. Among other things, the dye collection and the collection of gear models become places of unexpected sensual exploration, historical teaching and research objects become the occasion for lively encounters. What happens when hands, weight and breath take over what writing and images can only inadequately capture? An invitation to experience knowledge differently - in movement, in space, in contact.
