INTERFACES | Art in Public Space:

Opening: 14 June, 3 pm at Kunstverein Meißen e.V.

As part of the Meissen Summer of Culture 2025, Kunstverein Meißen is presenting the exhibition "Interfaces", curated by Luisa Müller and Felicitas Wenzel.

The project shows contemporary art in public space and brings together five artistic positions:

Alen Bichler, Margarita Mednikova, Rojo & Kreß, Jinmo Ryu and Elisabeth Stiebritz

The exhibition sees itself as a programme for young artists and exhibits works by graduates of Saxon art academies at various locations in Meissen's old town and at the Kunstverein.

"Interfaces" invites visitors to experience art in everyday urban life - on paths through the city centre as well as in concentrated confrontation in the interior. The Kunstverein serves as a starting and reference point for the exhibition and as a place of exchange.

A supplementary educational programme with guided tours, workshops and an exhibition catalogue accompany the project.
