What keeps us awake? Worries and uncertainties, as well as longings, ideas and creative energy. Under the title “SCHLAFLOS_NESPAVOST”, the 21st Strömungen/Proudení Art Symposium explores this state of limbo between tension and inspiration.
Twenty artists from Germany and the Czech Republic explore the theme through painting, sculpture, installation and other contemporary art forms. New works will be created during the symposium and subsequently exhibited in the ‘Runde Ecke’ at riesa efau. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the nocturnal realms of thought in our contemporary world and to delve into those moments when insomnia becomes a source of new perspectives.
