We cordially invite you to RESONATE - Expression in Movement & Colour, a dance and sensual art experience with dance teacher and art historian Vivien Foller as part of the OSTRALE Biennale 2025.

In a time when our everyday lives are characterised by sensory overload, acceleration and alienation, we often lose contact with our bodies. It becomes a mere shell, a functional tool or even a waste container for our consumption. But what if we began to understand our body as a living organism? As a vessel that not only reflects our relationship to the world, but embodies it in a living way?

RESONATE - Expression in Movement & Colour is a body-based mediation format that understands the exhibition as a place of reception and a field of movement: a space in which aesthetic experience, somatic practice and political questions intertwine.

Together we move through the visual worlds of the exhibition, using our bodies to enter the spaces that the artists make accessible to us through their works. Colour, form and composition are the coordinates by which we orient ourselves in order to find access to our inner worlds.

In individual and group modules, the central socio-political questions of the OSTRALE Biennale become the starting point for research-based, experience-based movement. In this process, artistic content is transformed into impulses for movement, occasions for a shift in perception and spaces for discourse that can be physically experienced. Because art is not just content and expression - it is also discourse, provocation and friction. When not only the mind but also the body opens up to a work of art, we can find a much deeper access to art and thus to the world.
