#MITTENDRIN with works by Rudi Meisel (*1949), Mahmoud Dabdoub (*1958) and Christian Borchert (1942-2000) follows the idea of urban strolling. Whether in the 1980s or 1990s, whether in Dresden, Leipzig, Berlin or New York: the deliberately aimless stroll through streets, across squares and bridges, along façades and shop windows, the camera always with them, provides casual observations, chance, fleeting encounters and uncalculated, surprising situations that are given a fixed form in the photograph.
