The exhibition MATCH unites the positions of the artists Nari Jo and Ulrike Mundt. Nari Jo directs her gaze inwards. Her painting is characterised by poetic sensitivity and draws on the quiet expanses and spaces of longing of her rural childhood as well as the visual worlds of Japanese films and comics. Ulrike Mundt directs her gaze outwards and locates her works in cultural and socio-political contexts.

In the interplay, the differences between the two positions emerge more clearly. At the same time, a structure of multi-layered, not immediately visible connections emerges, in which the works react to each other without dissolving.
