In her work, the internationally renowned artist Mariechen Danz (*1980 in Dublin, lives in Berlin) explores the relationship between the body, technology and knowledge systems. Sculptural and installative works by the artist enter into a dialogue with historical machines and models from university teaching and research collections as well as loans from the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden.
This brings the material infrastructures of scientific knowledge into focus, as well as the interactions between technical apparatus, models and our ideas of the human body.

The double exhibition "Circuits" is being realised in cooperation between the Custody Gallery in the Görges Building at TU Dresden and the Kunstverein Dresden. Opening: 24 April 2026, 5 pm (TU Dresden) and 7 pm (Kunstverein Dresden)
