"Fragments" in the work of the Dresden artist refers to figurative-looking forms - as witnesses to a painting process. Forms and colours found in the environment are translated into abstract pictorial structures during the creative process. Kupfer is showing a selection of small and large-format oil paintings in the exhibition.

Ludwig Kupfer studied at the HFBK in Dresden and is a research assistant at the Chair of Design at theTU Dresden.
