Our first event of the calendar year opens with an exhibition of artistic works by pupils from the Landesgymnasium St. Afra, the Gymnasium Franziskaneum and the Freie Werkschule Meißen, which presents the results of an intensive project week. This cooperation with the city's three largest educational institutions aims to make it easier for a young audience to access our premises and activities and to make a contribution to cultural education together with the institutions' teachers. The exhibition serves as a prelude to inviting teachers to visit further exhibitions with their pupils and classes during the event year, thereby integrating contemporary perspectives on art as part of regular art lessons at schools.
