we warmly invite you and your friends to our event ‘Klimt and van Gogh – Secrets of Colour’ with the artist Gunter Langer on 22 August 2026, at 2 pm at the Galerie kunst & eros.

You can look forward to a fascinating afternoon that will unravel the mystery of the vibrant colours in the works of Gustav Klimt and Vincent van Gogh. The great mystery lies in the flesh tones: Both masters turned away from the traditional depiction of nude body parts in painting and instead employed entirely new, revolutionary strategies. Gunter Langer offers you an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of their artistic practice through an in-depth analysis of their painting techniques.

A special highlight to follow: ‘Live Portrait Drawing’

Gunter Langer will create two live portraits of our gallery visitors on the spot. These individual works of art will be raffled off amongst the guests present and can be taken home straight away as a unique memento.
