Ingo Garschke explored the manifestations of the landscape, the geomorphological and the perspectives on animals, forests, mountains, crystals, skies, weather and clouds in his drawings. The artist processed apocalyptic ideas and processes, being exposed and feeling himself in the world in etchings, lithographs and sculptures.

His oeuvre is complete. He died in 2010.

On Friday, 20 June at 8 pm, Dr Sandra Mühlenberend, Prof. Dr Manfred Zoller and Kristof Grunert will talk to the curators about anatomy, visual art teaching and Ingo Garschke's work as Professor of Artistic Anatomy and Drawing Nature Studies at the HGB Leipzig.
