The HerStories project sheds light on the multifaceted Jewish history of the 20th century in Europe through the biographies of seven Jewish women from Germany, Poland, Greece, Spain, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. These personal stories convey experiences of persecution, deportation and flight, but also of survival, resistance and the rebuilding of life after the Shoah and the Second World War.
