From 29 February to 4 April 2024, the Forum für zeitgenössische Fotografie Dresden e.V. is showing an exhibition with works by photographers Sarah Grethe and Espen Eichhöfer, both of whom will be brought into dialogue. In her series "Sometimes the sky is open above us", Hamburg photographer Sarah Grethe explores how home materially disappears as a result of changes that come with ageing and physical distance. Norwegian photographer Espen Eichhöfer talks about "Papa, Gerd and the Northman" and what home means to him, having grown up in the Ruhr region.
