HEAVY PETTING
Opening: 23 October // 6.00 pm
23 October – 13 November 2026

Sonja Yakovleva, Margret Eicher, Tobi Keck

The exhibition HEAVY PETTING explores a longing for touch and intimacy in an age that seems to be growing ever more hectic.

Large-format tapestries, delicate paper cut-outs and a bizarre spatial installation weave a mysteriously captivating narrative of closeness and tenderness: a language of love all of its own. At times erotic, at times menacing, yet always powerful, the works engage us and invite us to share in the artists’ diverse fantasies and utopias. Brace yourselves for an encounter with modern erotic art that puts norms and power structures, body images and beliefs through their paces.

The exhibition is supported by the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony and the Office for Culture and Monument Protection of the State Capital Dresden.
