Gastausstellung: AENO - Art Edition Number One, Anne Dohrenkamp und Brigitte Heinrich

For artist Anne Dohrenkamp, who recently celebrated her 80th birthday, it is never too late for a new beginning. The Berlin native has been a passionate painter since her childhood and has shown particular courage and strength in recent years by going public with her art: she launched her career in 2020 with the first presentation of the project "AENO - her mit dem schönen Leben!"
2020, followed by further exhibitions in Weilburg, Upper Bavaria, Mallorca and Berlin to this day. Anne Dohrenkamp, who has been painting with passion and joy since childhood, was inspired by artists such as Georgios Kitsos and Silke Thal. Hundreds of paintings and drawings, sketches and studies were created in her studio in Kladow. "They are like my own children. I give them all the freedom they need. And when a picture is finished, I can let it go out into the world." In addition to her great talent, the retired teacher's recipe for success is her passion for creativity and the fascination of creating a holistic work: numerous colours and layers, the odd unplanned stroke and regular pauses before the creative process - all this is not only part of painting, but also of a happy, creative life! The challenge in both areas is symbolised by the first brushstroke that you boldly draw on the canvas - without knowing what the artwork will look like in the end. The AENO concept of presenting and juxtaposing painting and photography in one show has proven its worth and has met with a positive response from the public.

Renowned photographer Brigitte Heinrich is also showing her "Glückspilze" in the Dresden Motorenhalle. Since the late 1980s, there has hardly been an internationally renowned musician who has not been immortalised by the photographer on slide, colour negative or black and white.
For more than 40 years, photographer Brigitte Heinrich has been creating impressive images of musicians, bands and orchestras for magazines, journals and daily newspapers. The utilisation was followed by archiving. But then, unnoticed, a water ingress occurred and with it the mould cultures. Today we call them "lucky moulds*, because the slides and negatives became valuable, unique works composed by nature. This is how, guided only by time, perfect photography gave rise to these highly exciting works of art in Brigitte Heinrich's photo archive.
