The new exhibition series My, Yours – Our City by the independent and open artists’ group Neue Nischen explores the relationship between artists and their city, ranging from personal perspectives (“Mine”) through social perspectives (“Yours”) to collective urban narratives (“Ours”). All exhibitions have titles generated on the page www.what3words.com. Each of these titles refers to specific locations in Dresden, thereby creating a playful connection between art, urban space and the public.

The first exhibition is dedicated to graphic art and features works by Sebastian Bestier, Alexandra Kaufhold, Michael Kral, Katharina Probst, Anastasia Schneider, Oskar Staudinger, Chris Wagner and Nadine Wölk. The eponymous three-word code “ersatz.kostbar.bleistift” leads directly to Dresden’s Kupferstichkabinett, an inexhaustible treasure trove of graphic works spanning many centuries of collecting and a source of inspiration for all graphic artists in this city.
