Gwendolin Kremer and Pauline Hohn, Schaufler Residency@TU Dresden | Kustodie, TU Dresden
With The Mass of Money, Quadrature present the results of their Schaufler Residency@TU Dresden 2026. The exhibition focuses on the elusive dimensions of wealth and capital, translating economic data and market mechanisms into planetary and cosmological analogies. Drawing on models from physics, capital accumulation and the concentration of wealth are made tangible as gravitational phenomena: celestial bodies, galaxies and black holes become metaphors for densification, attraction and the self-reinforcing dynamics of wealth.
The exhibition opening takes place as part of the international conference Data↔Worlds, which will bring together the results of the second funding phase of the Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden from 28 to 30 September 2026 at the Görges-Bau, bringing together the results of the second funding phase of the Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden.
