Dear art lovers,

we cordially invite you and your friends to our event "Egon Schiele- Secrets of his working method" with the artist Gunter Langer on Saturday, 16. August 2025, at 2 pm at the Galerie kunst & eros.

This afternoon, you can look forward to a lecture on the Viennese artist Egon Schiele and his fascinating way of working. Gunter Langer will give you a look behind the scenes of his artistic work. Schiele's draughtsmanship, techniques and parallels with other artists are presented. It becomes clear that drawing is not only an expression of art, but also a craft. By analysing his techniques, secrets in his drawings can be uncovered and unravelled.

Afterwards: "Live Portrait Drawing" with Gunter Langer

The artist will create portraits of our gallery visitors on site. The drawn pictures are personalised and can be taken home by the guest. A unique memory and creative highlight of our afternoon, which will be drawn by lot among the participating guests.

Gunter Langer himself has been particularly enthusiastic about drawing since his childhood. He likes to draw a lot. His focus is on figurative-realistic depictions, whereby he focusses on well thought-out lines.

Let us take you into the exciting world of lines and shapes for an afternoon.
