The duo exhibition DREAMING HANDS brings together current works by Sarah Maria Steuer and Erika Richter.

Flowing stone structures and filigree creatures of fantastical origin wander within the visual world created. The starting point in the figurative is able to create a common basis for both positions, from which the abstract elements of their works diffuse. References between reality, scale and reality are deliberately left open. While the focus of Sarah's prints is on the creation and development of the figures and motifs, Erika's paintings show places of their own narrative.

A special performance awaits you at the vernissage. At the centre of the exhibition is a joint work in which both artistic positions overlap for a certain period of time and form a symbiosis. During the performance, Sarah will paint on Plexiglas panels and print them. This process will be projected live through a projector onto a picture by Erika. In the superimposition of both visual worlds, the viewer is invited to linger between these visual worlds.
