Jan Großmann’s works evolve from linear, two-dimensional constellations. Cuts, bends and folds open up a variety of spatial possibilities. Scientific models, systems and organisational structures serve as points of reference, as does his exploration of material, construction and space. The origin recedes behind the visible appearance. As complexity increases, existing orders are continually called into question.
