“My colouring pages are all poetic in nature. The motifs all originate in my mind.

I keep hold of lots of things and – perhaps – make something out of them later. These things serve as my initial sketches […]. Then there’s the soft velvet, the beautifully dyed and patterned fabrics, the decorative lace… And then there are my colours. Not so much the garish, rebellious ones. If I do happen to come across one, it is mixed with grey or black. I tend to be reserved; I prefer to express myself in an unobtrusive way. I prefer to quietly and unobtrusively borrow this and that from the past – even from myself – and transform it into something new. In doing so, I am only too happy to make use of older, even worn-out picture frames.” 10 October – 14 November 2026
