In the works of Lukas Maksay and Félix Hell, fragility and stability coexist in a precarious balance. Delicate cut-out patterns on A-level examination papers are positioned between panes of glass and steel cables, pushed to the very limit of a physical tipping point. Everyday objects, stripped of their original structural integrity, interact with one another to create a composition in which tension, materiality and movement can all be experienced in equal measure.
