Adam Beyer, a young photographer who studied documentary photography in Hanover, explores both the self-image and the image projected onto others in his portraits. As a contrast to his main field of photography, which engages with supposed reality, he explores alternative perceptions of reality through his self-portraits.

We would like to discuss this topic with him – namely, ‘The self-image and the image as perceived by others in nude photography’ – and shed light on the process of discovering how to depict unclothed bodies.
