Yaang Huuk Uun: Confabulations
A work-in-progress presentation of one-on-one performance conversations with a few SouthEast Asian Germans of Dresden. It maps bodies at different stages of assimilation, using the Meetei Mayek alphabet where each letter symbolises a body part. Meetei Mayek is the script of Meeteilon (Manipuri), an indigenous language spoken in Manipur, a south eastern Himalayan state on the Indo-Myanmar border.
