The exhibition ZEUGNISSE EINES LEBENS gives a deep insight into the multifaceted work of Udo Steinborn - an artist whose oeuvre is characterised by political circumstances, personal ruptures and an intensive exploration of art, architecture and spirituality.

From early surreal and cubist experiments to the deconstruction of compositional principles, his work reflects the search for a unifying form - a unity of painting, sculpture and architecture. In recent years, his artistic process has increasingly opened up to energetic dimensions, inspired by geomancy and spiritual perception.
