Urban spaces and fragments of our everyday world become the source of Lenke and Husser's pictorial inventions. Photographic notations in a minimalist style serve them as studies of their perception and memory, which are immediately characterised by the phenomenon of the fleeting and transient. In his painterly works, Lenke departs from traditional notions of homogeneous, three-dimensional space, creating polyphonic interior spaces and discontinuities.

Johann Husser, on the other hand, reflects on the transformation of urban space in his work. He uses existing 3D visualisations from the urban space and deconstructs them through digital editing processes that alienate their idealised visions.
His photographs show construction processes as fragile utopias and question who owns the city.
