It drips and flows when Lea Hoffbauer builds up her pictures layer by layer. Ink and oil make their way through chalk grounds and rabbit glue. The works are only shown once they have solidified, a snapshot of the movements of the liquids used.

Margarita Mednikova's carpets use the motif of drops of blood to explore narratives and reflections on human relationships, conflicts and historical events, which symbolise life, pain and violence as well as injustice.

In the GEH8 workroom, two artistic approaches are thus brought together, which move between narrative-free material investigation and content-related examination.
