Techno is more than just a music genre or a specific form of club and youth culture: as a global phenomenon, techno has not only shaped music history worldwide, but has also provided impulses that have had an impact on contemporary culture, art, pop culture, media consumption and technologies, social utopias and urban spaces. The exhibition TECHNO WORLDS approaches this multi-layered phenomenon through artworks by international and regional artists.

The Kunsthaus Dresden in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Munich is showing the German premiere of this globally touring project in the robotron canteen - a former venue of the Dresden club scene.
