Works from four different photo series by Baudouin Mouanda will be shown in the exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of the city partnership between Dresden and Brazzaville (Republic of Congo): his artistic gaze focuses on the realities of life in Brazzaville, dealing with power cuts, water shortages and floods, but the fashionably elegant "Sapeurs" are also on display. The exhibition project and the collaboration with the photographer were created in cooperation with the Institut français Dresden.

Only a few days later, an exhibition will also open at Galerie Holger John, Rähnitzgasse 17, to mark the anniversary of the city partnership: "RÉVOLTE DES COULEURS I Contemporary Congolese Art", opening on Thursday, 3 April 2025, 7 pm - the exhibition will be on display until 1 June 2025.
