The visual artists Manja Barthel, Constanze Böckmann, Monika Grobel and Nina May go in an artistic exchange with the polish artists Anna Bujak, Karolina Freino und Karolina Szymanowska. Their work will be shown in Gallery Runde Ecke (riesaefau Kulturforum) Dresden.
After times of isolation and limited ways of communication the artists get into an exchange about their work, especially in view of the topic „tight“.
The common associations to „tight“ are between two extremes. On one hand the feeling of tightness is given through rules, the feeling „to be in a tight corner“ or in the given tightness in a room.
On the other hand one associates positive feelings, for example the emotional security - sleep tight and the pleasant human closeness and warmth - hold me tight -.

The exhibition opens on the 16th of September at 8 PM and ends at the 9th of October, 2022.
The artists will be present. The dancer Daniela Lehmann will be performing on the opening night.
At the DCA Open at the 24th of September the artists will be present.
