In the "expectativas" exhibition, Spanish artist Manuel Sanz Mora explores the "expectations" of a generation, their hopes, wishes, desires, insecurities and fears. What makes young people tick? What do they want from life and how do they see their future? Confident and trusting or discouraged, resigned and frustrated? With his precise painterly realism, Sanz Mora explores these questions and at the same time passes them on to the viewer, usually in the form of direct eye contact with the subjects.
