GALLERY CONCERT "LAS PIBAS" with MORIANA KRAUSE flute/bass flute, THU TRANG SAUER violin/viola & KLARA FABRY clarinet

The female trio "LAS PIBAS" perform their new programme! They combine the finest classical virtuosity with the freedom of improvisation. Delicate, floating sounds merge with powerful rhythms. Musical diversity leads through the syncopated rhythms of Latin America, the passion of tango, the playfulness of Brazilian choro and the splendid variety of baroque ornamentation. The new women's trio "LAS PIBAS", from Lunfardo, a language of Argentina and Uruguay, means "women" and symbolises the deep connection to the earth, to everything that vibrates and sounds. This connection is reflected in the music of the three musicians: sometimes gentle, sometimes stormy - but always lively and authentic.

On the occasion of Viktoria Graf's 40th birthday, the gallery is showing a very special exhibition of the Dresden artist's work. New paintings and drawings will be on display. The artist is known for her fairytale-like and fantastical depictions. In a narrative manner, the artist takes us on a journey into surreal worlds, dreams, longings and experiences. In doing so, she explores all facets of femininity, sensuality and identity.
