Traces of the volatile, barely perceptible glow or fulminant streams of a long-announced change of light are echoed in the painting and printmaking work of artist Kerstin Franke-Gneuß. In the compositions of the Felix Hollenberg Prize winner, we experience how nature first takes on form in light, gains concretion as abstract and begins to dissolve again on a higher level in immaterial light.
