Katrin Kamrau transforms the KLAGG into a technical, man-made apparatus. Three lightly coloured window panes provide a view of the site-specific installation SPEKTRUM*objekt18(portrait). In this installation, the artist uses popular textbooks on photography to examine how social conventions and norms are inscribed in photographic images and teaching aids. Depending on the viewer's position outside the pavilion, the perception of the installation shifts - the system presented and the social and visual principles implicit in it are set in motion.
