For over a month, artists from the project If Paradise Is Half As Nice (IPIHAN) stayed in Dresden at the invitation of GEH8. During the day, they worked on the grounds of the Alte Leipziger Bahnhof, getting to know the place and tapping into its artistic potential, while GEH8's exhibition hall served as a base camp and was thus used as an overnight accommodation, collective studio, and discourse space. With this unusual mediation format, the GEH8 art space became a publicly accessible installation on selected evenings, which was used, among other things, in the form of artist talks, film evenings, and lecture performances.But first and foremost, in a symbiosis with the Alte Leipziger Bahnhof, impressive artistic works were created that are shaped by its history and the dynamics of decay. These are now to be discovered over the weekend - at the vernissage, during guided tours or on your own forays.

Friday, September 2, 5-8 p.m.: Individual tours / 7:30 p.m.: Opening with a welcoming speech by the mayor of culture Annekatrin Klepsch / Afterwards party with bar and music

Saturday & Sunday, September 3 and 4, 12-6 p.m., each 12:30 p.m. Reading with Guus Vreeburg, 2 and 4 p.m. Guided tours.
