For a site-specific installation at the KLAGG, Christof Zwiener uses light as a central artistic element. The building is intensively illuminated from the inside, creating an atmospheric setting for both the external surroundings and the neighbouring park. The former post becomes an oversized lamp that transforms the space in a special way. Especially in the darker months of the year, the KLAGG acts as a powerful symbol as a source of light. It not only changes the perception of the physical space, but also conveys deeper meanings and refers to the specific history of the site's use. This gives the former station of the Dresden park railway a temporary, radiant signal effect.
