The third exhibition in the annual series In the midst of nature by the free and open artist group "Pleinair" shows works by Eva Backofen, Angelika Becher, Andreas Bräunsdorf, Rita Geißler, Cornelia Konheiser and Anke Kutzschbauch until 26 February 2025.

This exhibition is about deepening and meditation: part of the creative process is about deepening oneself, which goes hand in hand with a close connection between the viewer and what is seen. If the connection is so close that seeing, perceiving and creating become one, this dissolves all tensions, overcomes one's own demands and needs and bridges the otherwise separate forms of existence of nature and art, so that drawing or painting becomes unintentional. This state of concentration brought to the highest point with simultaneous calm and absence of tension is a materialising form of meditation. At best, this can radiate through the works to the viewer.
