How high is the proportion of female artists in such a collection? The 60-minute guided tour "From Female Hands - Women Artists in Focus" scrutinises equality on the art market, examines emancipation as well as selected female artists and their different visual languages, such as Gerda Lepke, Lydia Thomas, Franziska Holstein and Wiebke Herrmann. Over the past 25 years, more than 450 works have been purchased, gradually building up a collection. Alongside big names, there are newcomers and forgotten positions, all of which are waiting to be discovered. Selected works will give you an insight into this collection of paintings, drawings, prints and collages.
