Art Safari „Venus Today“

24.10.2025 — 21.11.2025

Art Safari „Venus Today“

"Venus Today" is inspired by the centenary of the discovery of the Venus of Věstonice - a 30,000-year-old prehistoric figurine that is considered the oldest known ceramic object. It symbolises the origins of artistic and technological development as well as the female principle of human history. The exhibition explores the question of what the Venbus looks like today: What forms, materials and statements determined contemporary representations of the feminine? Past and present meet in an exciting debate - a dialogue about body images, identity and cultural memory.

The exhibition Art Safari "Venus Today" is another result of the collaboration between Studio Bubec Prague and riesa efau.
